Description
The PC-Version of the second part of the World Racing series from Synetic, "World Racing 2", was released on 29. september 2005. For the Xbox and PS2 the versions was released at a later time.

Synetic is having a realy good contact to their fans of "Mercedes-Benz World Racing". Cause of that they solved the most critics and added wishes from the players to the new game. Like always, not everybody was absolutely happy about the game but "World Racing 2" is another fantastic racing game from germany too. The quality of the game is at the same level like international productions and has not to stand in their shadows.

Again a good job did the Landscape Engine for the graphics. First used in "Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing" the graphics was improved much compared to "Mercedes-Benz World Racing".

All vehicles are very detailed, there are beautiful Scenarios and the fauna is unrivalled. All surfaces have realtime reflections. It's a pitty the dashes from "Mercedes-Benz World Racing" are missed but a voting long time ago set a result that the gamers don't want cockpits. Beside that the manpower of Synetic would be to less to build cockpits for all cars in the scheduled time.

Further "World Racing 2" contains a carrer with 70 missions which has to be done with many of all 90 available cars.
The racetypes are Timetrials, Driftmissions, KnockOut Races and Offroad.

There is something for everybody in the game. Over all "World Racing 2 has more than 160 tracks" in gorgeous scenarios with many square kilometre. The scenarios are Italy, Egypt, Miami, Hawaii, Race-Center and Hockenheim Ring.
