[WR2][CONV][REL] TRD3 cars update
All the old conversion of TRD3 cars will be updated because really needed but instead bump all old thread (2010)
I will post all link there and edit original thread because only include new files so need install first version before.

For all cars: proper 3D smoothing, less brightness, less reflection, wheels size like 3D model, new brake disc and caliper (3D from Shift 2) same for all cars with different caliper position like the original generic 2D.

Only if available: damage part (doors and front/rear wing only), working suspension (open wheeler only), tail light works as texture with improved lights, new material for exterior mirror, proper steering wheel rotation (few cars with cockpit), reworked physics if needed (too fast or "unreal")

New AI laptime will be added with old time too (most of them are too fast)


The first update done is the British GT 2004:

CUP class: reduced top speed to 260kph/162mph instead 280/174 (now a bit slower with same tire grip)

NGT class: reduced top speed to 280kph/174mph instead 320/199 and reduced tire grip to be around 5sec faster than CUP class like in real and slower than GT2/GT3

The cars are faster in WR2 but around 2-3sec slower than modern GT2 in WR2 but seems correct (2004 NGT/GT2 are 3sec slower than 2009 GT2 in real at Silverstone old layout)

3 more done and updated the leaderboard with new AI laptime only DTM was not too fast.

DTM 2005

Reduced top speed to 280kph/174mph instead 320/199 and a bit the tire grip to be slower than 2008 version. In real the 2008-2009 model are 2sec faster than 2005 at Hockenheim during qualifying session.

IndyCar Series 2004

Reworked the physics harder to take corner at Indianapolis but laptime still real around 41.5 (alone no draft) But now much more difficult to drive on "road track" because of oval aero (low downforce=high speed)

To have only 5 cars with real liveries you can remove the fictional G-Force-Chevrolet (folder irl_2004_g-force-chevy)

V8 Supercars 2005

Reduced top speed to 300kph/186mph instead 320/199 and a less tire grip so more realistic Bathurst laptime (around 2:09)

GT Tuning Cup + pack of 7 cars:

Changed tread texture of the cars without slick tires because even if few of them are street cars they looks like race car with those liveries, rollcage, driver...


GT Tuning Cup: 3 cars have now same top speed of 330kph/205mph because no need more for race track use and added 6th gear to Diablo. Still same perfomance and difficult to drive.
Changed name of both Koening: GT (360) and GT-D (Diablo)

Even if no suspension in real I have not found how make not "moving" tire so I made suspension like any open wheeler so the tires looks attached but unreal suspension moving...
Driver head in not anymore "working" because too much moving... and fixed steering wheel rotation.
Added the second number of each color as vinyls (10 colors and 20 number)
Big change is physics with 2 engine version but can't drove "together". The only litle problem is 3D of kart wich don't fit with engine specs but not really important.
Engine of 10 first kart: "Aixro XR50" a powerfull Wankel engine (300cc around 50hp) with front brake disc and quicker than 125 shifter kart.
Engine of 10 others: "Rotax DD6" a custom version of 125cc (around 30hp) with 6 gears. Only better in WR2 on track with straight because a bit more speed.
